Bruiser, Watercolor Pet Portrait

In my previous post, I mentioned how busy I was with a new puppy. Well, here he is. My brother who lives in Wake Forest, Wake County has two English Creams. English Creams, is what you call the white version of the Golden Retriever bread. Bruiser is a pretty large puppy, who will grow into a large dog, no doubt.
Bruiser will be my third watercolor pet portrait. This is not the greatest painting, I think there is too much color. Bruiser is a white dog, and looking at this watercolor, you might think he was more on the golden side. I did manage to capture his personality with his expressive eyes.
I think I have a long way to go in my watercolor journey.
